Thompson Coburn LLP (Thompson Coburn) has represented Lorillard Tobacco Company as national counsel for more than a decade. The Firm has represented Lorillard in a wide range of cases in many venues. These include more than 2,000 product liability cases; nearly a dozen Attorney General cases; several medical monitoring and health and pension fund class actions; several hundred asbestos synergy cases; and a wide variety of class actions in several states, including several brought in traditionally plaintiff-friendly jurisdictions.
