Job Growth
In a study recently completed by the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association (RCGA), St. Louis' total annual job growth rate is 6.3 percent, placing St. Louis 5th in the race for jobs in a comparison with 33 competitor metropolitan areas. St. Louis tied with Dallas and was ahead of San Antonio, Denver, Nashville, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Oklahoma City.

The current rate is under 4.0 percent.

Location
St. Louisans never feel isolated in the Gateway City. Situated 300 miles southwest of Chicago, 300 miles north of Memphis and 250 miles east of Kansas City, St. Louis is centrally located between these fabulous cities and provides convenient access to anywhere in the country. St. Louis' airport, Lambert International, is a Midwestern hub.
