Benefit Options

Thompson Coburn LLP (Thompson Coburn) has a Benefit Options Program that offers a variety of medical and dental options, employee and dependent term life insurance, long-term disability insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. On your first day of employment, you will receive an enrollment package detailing the total benefits that the Firm provides. You will also have an opportunity to participate in a medical expense reimbursement account and dependent care reimbursement account.

Parking/Transportation Reimbursement
Thompson Coburn currently pays a transportation allowance that may be used for parking at a nearby garage or taken as cash.

Flexible Work Schedules
In order to provide additional flexibility for staff to meet transportation, childcare and other needs, non-standard work schedules may be established with the consent of the immediate supervisors and/or attorneys and paralegals on an assignment.

Paid Time Off (PTO) and Vacation
Regular, non-exempt, full-time staff members begin to accrue benefits and establish eligibility after 90 calendar days of employment. For non-exempt staff, during the first incomplete calendar year of employment, after the first 90 days, paid time off (PTO) will accrue on a prorated basis based on our eighteen working days offered annually.

Regular, exempt, full-time staff members begin to accrue benefits and establish eligibility after 90 calendar days of employment. For exempt staff, during the first incomplete calendar year of employment, after the first 90 days, vacation will accrue on a prorated basis based on the annual allotment of eighteen days for PTO.

Paid Holidays
Thompson Coburn offers nine regularly scheduled holidays as well as extra time off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
